Licorice Root from Vitazan is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs and bronchitis. Vitazan’s Licorice Root is also used to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.

Suggested Use

Adults: As an addition to the daily diet, take 1–2 capsules twice daily with meals or as directed by your health-care practitioner.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4–6 weeks, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or have a liver disorder.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder; or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroid, stimulant laxatives, or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.

Each vegetable capsule contains:
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root and stolon	470 mg
Other ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
