Alpha Science Laboratories L-Arginine is a natural, nitric oxide precursor acting as a natural, nitric oxide precursor.
L-Arginine is a semi-essential or conditionally essential amino acid in humans. It is one of the most metabolically versatile amino acids and serves as a precursor for the synthesis of urea, nitric oxide (NO), polyamines, proline, glutamate, creatine, and agmatine. L-Arginine is known for its physiological effects including the release of growth hormone, glucagon and insulin, amino acid detoxification, and for the synthesis of creatine which is an important compound for generating ATP.
INGREDIENT PER 1 CAPSULE:
L-Arginine [(S)-2-Amino-5-[(aminoiminomethyl)amino]pentanoic acid]………………….500 mg
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENT:
Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule shell).
RECOMMENDED SERVING:
Adults: Take 6 capsules three times per day with food.
DURATION OF USE:
Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 3 months.
CAUTIONS:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have asthma or a myocardial infarction (heart attack). Discontinue use if you have decreased platelet count, elevated blood ureanitrogen, serum creatine and creatinine. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have acrocyanosis, human herpes virus, sickle cell anemia. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking cyclosporine, estrogens, birth control medications, medroxyprogesterone, norethindrone, nitrates, potassium-increasing drug, xylitol and/or aminophyllins. Do not use if security seal is broken.
